My Style
I have an eye for detail and a passion to create and deliver beautifully honest storytelling images of your wedding. For that reason, I will never dictate or upset the natural balance of your day.
As your personal wedding photojournalist I will give you complete freedom to do what you want when you want to, without photographer pressure to pose, move or repeat. Then afterwards, I will lovingly edit your images by hand in my signature style and deliver them to you within 6-8 weeks of your wedding (8-12 weeks in peak wedding season)
I’m fascinated by human interraction, emotions & relationships. Ultimately, I want to document your day as it happens and preserve it for generations to come. I want your grandchildren to be able to feel what you felt on your wedding day just by looking through your photos. I want to take them back through time. Because I work like this, I’m not your traditional wedding photographer. I won’t ask you to line up for hours. I don’t shoot an endless list of group photos and I absolutely understand the the power of a photograph - that one click of my shutter can take you back in time! I believe that authenticity far outweighs tradition!
I do realise the importance of some couple photos and group photos, so I will work with you and set aside some time for these. But I believe that these should be kept fun, short and really should not keep you away from your guests for too long.
I don’t want you to feel pressured by me in any way and I don’t want you to remember your day by the number of times I asked you to smile. I want you to remember everything else - the laughter, the joy, the tears and everything else in between and what you don’t remember, well that’s where I come in!
I work all over Cheshire, the North West, Lancashire, Yorkshire and the UK. If your wedding is overseas I'd love to hear from you because I absolutely love destination weddings too!
