Cheshire Documentary Wedding Photography - A series.

Hello I'm Lou and I am the founder/photographer at Louise Jacob Photography. I'm a wedding photographer in Cheshire and I've been capturing authenticity at weddings for the past 4 years. I am excited by documenting weddings without any direction from myself as your photographer. I am passionate about delivering images that are un orchestrated and real.  My style is unposed candid documentary, you may also know my style as wedding photojournalism or reportage.  My belief, is that without this realness portrayed in your images, do your photographs have meaning?  And if you don't have any meaning in your pictures then what are you left with?

Cheshire Family Photography - Sam and her boys

LESS POSING = MORE FUN!!

When Sam contacted me a few weeks back and asked me to come and document her morning with her boys as a present for her husband, I literally jumped at the chance. 1. She lives right around the corner in Cuddington and 2. I absolutely love how this type of photography is evolving and more and more families are wanting to get involved and realise the importance of authentic documentary portraits.

What a joy it was too to catch a glimpse into their world.  These genuine moments will one day be a precious reminder of how life was with 2 young boys because we all know how fast the littles grow and all too soon Sam's daily life will look very different.  Sam and her family now have some wonderful documentary portraits to keep forever.

Forget saying cheese and explore the exciting world of Family Photojournalism!

Cheshire Family Photography - Nat, Kieran and Matilda

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing an in home family photography session with this lovely family.  I love documentary sessions at home because you are your most relaxed when you're in familiar surroundings.  Yesterday was no exception and we had such a lovely time just hanging out doing normal everyday stuff.  The sun was even kind to us and we got to venture out into the garden for a bit too :)

Do you know anyone who would like a family documentary session? Completely fly-on-the-wall and I tell your story through observation, freezing an otherwise ordinary day in pictures for you to treasure!

These sessions make great gifts too and I do gift vouchers so contact me if you'd like to find out more - I'd love to hear from you.

In the meantime, rest your eyes on these....
