Amber and Jack are two beautiful souls, madly in love and two of the nicest people you could ever meet, so when they asked me to photograph their wedding I could not have been more excited!
We spent a morning together up at Tarn Hows for their pre-wedding shoot back in February and I could tell that their Lake District wedding was set to be one to remember!
My wonderfully talented friend Lucy from Starwinkle Photography joined me as my second shooter for the day and created some beautiful images!
The Ceremony took place at St Michael's and All Angels Church in Hawkshead. Built in the 16th Century, steeped in history and situated high up overlooking the Parish and surrounding fells, St Michael's and All Angels Church is a stunning place of worship and beautiful to photograph. Amber kept Jack on his toes by arriving only a little late, looking absolutely stunning and walked down the aisle with her two bridesmaids, flower girl and her pageboy. Jack's talented sister Hannah played the Cello.
The Reception was held at Belmount Hall. Once owned by Beatrix Potter, Belmount is a truly relaxed venue that feels like you've been invited back to a family home for a good old party rather than to a wedding venue. The staff were so lovely, kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
For entertainment Amber and Jack had a bouncy castle and after the first dance a Ceilidh Band which made for lots of fun!
All in all a wonderful wedding in a beautiful setting with great people!
Congratulations Amber & Jack I wish you an eternity of love luck and happiness!
