Cheshire Family Photography (The Butters Family) - Louise Jacob Photography

I've not blogged for a while and it's been Easter holidays in our house so for the last two weeks, finding time to work has been a challenge to say the least! I'm not complaining though - I've loved it!  Spending time with my little family on some great adventures (the beach, the forest, horse-riding, swimming every day, monopoly-marathons, yogurt explosions, bonkers dog walks, trips to Wales, the cinema) with lovely family and friends.  I'm going really going to miss my hilarious, kind, caring, loveable little whirlwind of energy when he goes back to school next week.

But enough about us... let me tell you about a few precious hours I spent with the lovely Butters Family at the end of March. Evelyn has just turned one and to document it Mike and Lianne booked a 2-hour session with me.   We spent a chilled hour at home with all her new toys, then we went for a walk round Shakerely Mere to feed the ducks.  We totally lucked out with the weather - Spring had well and truly sprung.

Turning one is such an amazing time in childhood. So much has happened already.  Personalities are really shining through and the world is so exciting.  But this year things change so quickly.   Soon Evelyn will be toddling and life will look much different.  What better way to embrace being one than with authentic documentary pictures (without anyone rushing for the camera and not a selfie in sight!)
